Stolen vehicle Republic of Ireland- Burglary Poleglass - 2 arrests Ballynafeigh

Officers from South Belfast Neighbourhood policing team and Lisburn Road local policing team stopped a blue coloured Audi A5 on Sunnyside Street, Belfast this afternoon at approximately 1445 hours.

The vehicle had been stolen from the Republic of Ireland a couple of days previously.

A male and female, both aged 27 years were arrested.

Items stolen from a burglary overnight in the Poleglass area were also recovered.

Both persons were also arrested in relation to an incident yesterday where a 75 year old gentleman had cash stolen from him.

Police attended a report of a burglary in the Diamond Gardens area of Finaghy yesterday. Sometime between 1630 hours on the 16th March and 0700 hours on 18th March new build houses were broken into and 2 Ideal Logic boilers (pictured) were removed. If anyone has any information please contact us on the non-emergency number of 101 and quote reference 515-18/03/2021
